G FLEX abrasive for metal

Description

G-Flex wheels and mounted points are a semi-flexible cotton/rubber/resin bonded abrasive designed specifically for use on stainless steel and other tough/hard metals to blend & de-colourise welds on fabricated components, also for de-burring and polishing of stainless steel components, they are not suitable for polishing or creating a brushed effect on a large area of steel. G-Flex wheels can be used at operating speeds up to 50 m/s (9840 sfpm) peripheral/surface speed, this speed decreases on mounted points in accordance with the amount of spindle overhang.

Applications

G-flex products are particularly suitable for work on stainless steel, including de-burring and blending of welded joints/connections. This grade of product produces low hand/arm vibration values, is easy to control and can reduce the time required for subsequent polishing operations used mops and compounds.
