Marrose Abrasives manufacture a range of rubber bonded abrasive wheels for centreless grinding of bearing rollers.

Originally developed by the Carborundum Co in the 1950’s and improved in 2005 when Marrose purchased the Intellectual Property & Equipment of Carborundum, U.K., these special abrasive wheels are largely self-dressing enabling high speed continuous production of all diameters of rollers with grinding ratios (Q factors) in the range of 3 to 5 and surface finish in the range 0.3 to 0.6 microns

Bond types available:

“RG” for speeds up to 38 m/s and “RT1” for speeds up to 45 m/s

Grit Sizes (FEPA F) :

#60 and #80

Hardness Grades

L, M, N, O for “RG” and L,M for “RT1”
